DTC 05

1. Check connections of O2 sensor electrical connectors, repairing or replacing as necessary.
2. If connections are satisfactory, check for continuity between O2 sensor and terminal ``2D'' of control unit.
3. If there is no continuity, check for open or short circuit in wiring harness.
4. If there is continuity, perform steps 4a, b, c and e under ``CODE EXTRACTION.'' If results are not as described, O2 sensor is defective.
