Throttle Body: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Remove bracket securing air pipe to air funnel.
4. Remove high tension lead bracket.
5. Loosen air hose bands.
6. Remove air funnel.
7. Disconnect throttle sensor electrical connector.
8. Remove accelerator cable.
9. Disconnect electrical connector at No. 3 injector.
10. Disconnect vacuum hoses from upper ports.
11. Disconnect bypass air hose and water hoses from the throttle body.
12. Remove throttle body and gasket.
13. Disconnect vacuum hose from lower port.
14. Reverse procedure to install, then add engine coolant and adjust throttle sensor and the idle speed.
