1. Remove the pressure regulator control valve Fig. 3.

Fig. 4 Pressure Regulator Control Valve Inspection:

1. Connect a vacuum hose to the valve as in Fig. 4.
1. Blow air through the valve from hose (A) and make sure air comes out of port (B).
1. Apply battery power and ground the solenoid valve with jumper wires.
1. Blow air through the solenoid valve from hose (A) and make sure the air comes out of valve's air filter.
1. If the three way solenoid valve does not operate properly, replace it with a new one.
