No. 3 Purge Control Valve

Fig. 37 Testing No. 3 purge control valve.:

1. Remove No. 3 purge control valve.
2. Connect suitable vacuum pump to valve, Fig. 37.
3. Blow through valve from port A and ensure air does not flow from port B when applied vacuum is less than 2.60-4.17 inches Hg.
4. Apply a vacuum of at least 2.95 inches Hg on 626 models, or 4.17 inches Hg on B2600 models.
5. Blow through port A and ensure air flows from port B.
