M Position Switch Inspection

M POSITION SWITCH INSPECTION [AY6A-EL, AY6AX-EL]

CAUTION:
- Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.
- Do not damage the terminals.

1. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.
a. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

b. Remove the console. Console Removal/Installation

c. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.






2. Measure the continuity between selector lever component terminals C and D.






- If there is any malfunction, replace the selector lever component. Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation

M position switch specification
