Catalytic Converter Removal/Installation - RH

CATALYTIC CONVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - RH, 3.0L

1. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe. See - Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the RH catalyst monitor sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove and discard the 3 RH catalytic converter nuts and remove the converter.

- Discard the RH catalytic converter gasket.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm {4.0 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Install a new gasket and nuts.
