Automatic Transmission Dipstick - Dipstick Tube: Service and Repair

TRANSAXLE FILLER TUBE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION













1. Remove the transaxle vent hose from the transmission fluid filler tube.





2. Remove the transmission fluid level indicator.





3. Remove the selector lever cable from the transmission fluid filler tube bracket.





4. Remove the transaxle fluid filler tube nut.

- To install, tighten to 11 Nm {1.1 kgf-m, 97 lb-in).





5. Pull and rotate the transaxle fluid filler tube clockwise and remove the transaxle fluid filler tube.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
