Rear Suspension - Lower Arm Removal/Installation

LOWER ARM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION









1. Remove the wheel and tire. See Service and Repair.

2. Remove and discard the lower ball joint nut and separate the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle.

- To install, tighten to 63 Nm {6.4 kgf-m, 46 ft-lbf}.

3. Remove the lower arm inner bolt and the lower arm.

- Discard the bolt.
- To install, tighten to 150 Nm {15.3 kgf-m, 111 ft-lbf}.

NOTE:Tighten the lower arm inner bolt with the weight of the vehicle on the wheels and tires.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
