REAR FOOTWELL DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION









Removal/Installation

All vehicles

1. Remove the driver and front passenger seats. See Removal and Replacement.

2. Remove the floor console. See Service and Repair.

3. Remove the front door scuff plate trim panels and the lower A-pillar trim panels. See A-Pillar Trim Panel Removal/Installation.

Vehicles with automatic transaxle





1. Detach the selector lever cable from the gearshift assembly.
a. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the gearshift lever.

b. Remove the selector lever cable from the bracket.

All vehicles

NOTE:Position the carpet to gain access to the floor ducts.
1. Separate the wiring harness from the LH floor duct and position aside.

2. Remove the LH floor duct.

3. Remove the RH floor duct pin-type retainer.

4. Remove the RH floor duct.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
