Rear Seat Cushion Disassembly/Assembly

REAR SEAT CUSHION DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

NOTE:RH rear seat cushion shown, LH similar.














1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

- Position the seat cushion forward.
- Release the locking tab and slide the rear seat cushion outward.





2. Unzip the cushion trim cover zipper.

CAUTION:Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strips or the hook-and-loop strips may be torn from the seat cushion foam pad.
3. Invert and remove the cushion trim cover.

4. Remove the 2 bolts and the cushion pivot upper link.

- To assemble, tighten to 40 Nm {4.0 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

5. Remove the 2 cushion hinge floor bracket bolts and cushion support-to-floor bracket.

- To assemble, tighten to 40 Nm {4.0 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

6. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
