AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Removal/Installation

All vehicles

NOTE:Module configuration is only required if a new audio control module (ACM) is being installed.
1. Upload the ACM configuration to the scan tool. See Programmable Module Installation (PMI).

2. Remove the middle instrument panel center finish panel. See - Locations.

3. Remove the 4 ACM screws.

- To install, tighten to 2 Nm {0.2 kgf-m, 18 in-lbf} (navigation).
- To install, tighten to 1 Nm {0.1 kgf-m, 9 in-lbf} (all except navigation).

Navigation

1. Disconnect the antenna and electrical connectors.

All except navigation

1. If equipped, remove the 4 screws and the ACM side support brackets.

NOTE:Only carry out this step if installing a new ACM.
2. Remove the 2 ACM brackets.

All vehicles

1. Remove the ACM.

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Download the configuration information to the ACM. See Programmable Module Installation (PMI).
