UNUSUAL RATTLE / BUZZ TYPE NOISE FROM PRESILENCER

2010-2013 CX-9 vehicles with VINs from JM3 TB ****** 200001 to JM3 TB ****** 400869 (produced from July 28, 2009 to October 15, 2012)

DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit an unusual rattle/buzzing type noise from the presilencer when driving at approximately 1800 rpm.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.





2. Replace the presilencer (A). Refer to MS3 online or Workshop Manual (section 01-15 EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7]).

3. Verify repair.
