Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

POWER BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery and battery tray. Removal and Replacement Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the battery tray bracket as shown in the figure.






3. Remove the master cylinder component. Service and Repair

4. Remove the brake pipe as shown in the figure.






5. Remove the dashboard under cover.

6. Remove the accelerator pedal. Service and Repair Service and Repair

7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

9. After installation, add brake fluid, bleed the air, and inspect for fluid leakage. Service and Repair

10. Inspect the brake pedal. Testing and Inspection
