EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Solenoid: Service and Repair

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VACUUM REGULATOR VALVE

Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT.




2. Disconnect the EGR vacuum regulator valve.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses.




3. Remove the PCM wiring harness bracket.
1. Remove the nut.
2. Position the bracket aside.




4. Remove the bolts and remove the EGR vacuum regulator valve.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
