Thermostat: Service and Repair

THERMOSTAT-2.0L ZETEC

Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine coolant.





2. Remove the three bolts and separate the water outlet adapter from the thermostat housing.





Note:
^ The thermostat is indexed and must be installed correctly.

3. Remove the thermostat and the O-ring seal.

Note:
^ Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
