Part 2

40. Remove the valve tappet guide plate retainer.





41. Remove the valve tappet guide plates.





42. Remove the valve tappets.





43. Align the timing marks.





44. Remove the bolt.





45. Remove the timing sprockets and the timing chain/belt as an assembly.





46. Remove the camshaft retainer.





47. Remove the camshaft.





48. If required, remove the camshaft bearings.
- Use camshaft bearing set T65L-6250-A or equivalent.





49. Remove the oil pump.





50. Remove the piston and connecting rod assemblies.





51. Remove the bolts.





52. Remove the main bearing caps.





53. Remove the lower crankshaft main bearings.





54. Remove the crankshaft rear main oil seal.





55. Remove the crankshaft.





56. Remove the upper crankshaft main bearings.
