Heater Hose: Service and Repair

HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Drain the radiator.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.










3. Remove the heater hoses from between the heater core and the water control valve.







4. Remove the heater hose from between the water control valve and the water pump.




5. On 4.0L engines, remove the nut from the clip.










6. Remove the heater hose from between the water control valve and the water outlet.




7. Install in reverse order of removal.
1. Lubricate all hoses and fittings.
