Exhaust Pipe: Service and Repair

MUFFLER INLET PIPE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION-2.3L
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Remove the exhaust inlet pipe nuts and gasket.
4. Position the exhaust inlet pipe and install the bolts.
Tightening torque 34 - 46 Nm (3.47 - 4.69 kgf-cm, 25 - 33 ft. lbs.).





5. Install a new exhaust converter inlet pipe gasket and install the nuts.
6. Lower the vehicle.
