GEARSHIFT LEVER-4X4
Removal and Installation

Note: Make sure that the gearshift lever is in neutral and the parking brake is set.





1. Remove the center console trim and gearshift lever boot.
1. Remove the gearshift lever knob.
2. Remove the center console trim and gearshift lever boot.

Note: During installation on vehicles equipped with adjustable shifter cables, adjust the shift cable.

Note: The second shift cable connection is located under the gearshift lever bracket.





2. Disconnect the shifter cables from the shifter.





3. Remove the shift cable clips.





4. Slide the shift cables forward and position them out of the way.





5. Remove the bolts and the gearshift lever.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
