Transmission Cooler: Description and Operation

TRANSAXLE COOLING
All vehicles with automatic transaxles are equipped with a transaxle fluid cooler integral to the radiator which cannot be repaired separately. The integral transaxle fluid cooler transfers heat from the transaxle fluid to the engine coolant. The auxiliary transaxle fluid cooler transfers heat from the transaxle fluid to the outside air.
