Steering Gear Boot

Removal and Installation





1. Position the steering gear boot cover aside.

Note:
^ The nut cannot be reused. Install a new nut.





2. Disconnect the steering column shaft from the flexible coupling.
1 Remove and discard the nut.
2 Disconnect the steering column shaft from the flexible coupling.





3. Remove the steering gear boot.
1 Remove the nuts.
2 Remove the steering gear boot.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
