Removal and Installation
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the oil pump screen cover and tube.
^ Remove and discard the gasket.

Caution: The oil pump screen cover and tube sealing surfaces are soft metals. Do not use abrasive grinding discs to remove gasket material; only use manual scrapers. Do not scratch or gouge sealing surfaces.

3. Carefully clean both sealing surfaces.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install a new gasket.
