NOTE: Make sure key is off.

1. Insert the vehicle interface module and program card into the SST (WDS or equivalent tester) control unit.




2. Plug the WDS or equivalent Tester adapter cable into the interface module and the large 5 pin connector into the vehicle data link connector (DLC) located under the left side of the center console.
3. Plug the WDS or equivalent Tester power cable into the adapter power cable connector, cigarette lighter or use a battery hook-up adapter.
4. Listen for a double beep. The WDS or equivalent Tester is now initialized. Begin the functional test of the powertrain control system.
