Installation

Caution: A new power take off (PTO) unit driver, gear seal must be installed any time the power take off (PTO) unit is removed.





1. Install the power take off (PTO) unit.
1 Install the bolts.





2. Connect the power take off (PTO) unit vent hose to the vent tube.





3. Install the bolt.





4. Install the crossmember brace and the four bolts.





5. Install the bracket and the six bolts.
6. Install the RH exhaust manifold.
7. Install the drive axle intermediate shaft. Refer to Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints; Axle Shaft Assembly, Constant Velocity Type; Short Shaft.





8. Install the heat shield.
1 Install the three bolts.
9. Install the exhaust crossover pipe.
10. Install the driveshaft.
11. Check the power take off (PTO) unit fluid level.
12. Connect the battery ground cable.
13. Check the transaxle fluid level.
