Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

- Thermistor type (passive) sensor.
- Provides air temperature information to PCM which uses the information as a correction factor in the calculation of fuel, spark and MAF.
- Resistance changes with temperature. Electrical resistance decreases as temperature increases and increases as temperature decreases.
