Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

1. Remove the A/C compressor.
2. Remove the air intake duct.




3. Remove the screw from the clamp on the manifold and tube.




4. Disconnect the manifold and tube from the receiver/drier; refer to the Spring Lock Couplings Disconnect and Connect general procedure in SPRING LOCK COUPLING.




5. Disconnect the A/C pressure cut-off switch connector.




6. Disconnect the manifold and tube from the condenser core and remove the manifold and tube.




7. Remove the A/C pressure cut-off switch.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Lubricate the O-rings with refrigerant oil.
2. Apply pipe sealant to the threads of the A/C manifold retaining bolt.
