STEERING COLUMN LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT
DESCRIPTION
The design of the lock cylinder housings for 1991 and '92 Navajo models are different. The 1991 models use twin lock levers and '92 models use a single lock lever design the column lock cylinder.
If column lock cylinder replacement is necessary on 1991 models, a single lock lever design should be used.
Installation procedures are listed below.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Replace the lock cylinder housing assembly (ZZL0 32 10X) with the new assembly (ZZL0 32 10XA) according to the Workshop Manual (Section N-04, page 52). Figure 1.
2. Next, replace the two lock levers (ZZLO 32 666 - right and ZZLO 32 656 - left) - with a single lock lever (ZZL1 32 666). Install the new lever in the location that the right hand lever was removed ftom. Figure 2.
