DF - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Sensor

Enter this Pinpoint Test only when service code 22 or 72 is received during Quick Test or you have been directed here from Pinpoint Test S or Quick Test step 9.0 (Diagnosis By Symptom).

This Pinpoint Test is only intended to diagnose the following:

1. BP sensor.
2. Harness circuits: VREF, BP SIG, SIG RTN.
3. ECA computer processor.

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that these non-EEC areas may be faulty:

1. Unusually high/low barometric pressure.
2. Engine mechanical problems (valves, vacuum leaks, etc).
