Starter Does Not Crank, Relay Operates

For assistance in diagnosing this starter, refer to Starting and Charging/Starting System/Diagrams. Ensure battery is fully charged for the following tests.

Connect a jumper across terminals B and M of starter solenoid. If starter does not operate, repair or replace starter. If starter does operate, replace solenoid.
