AA - EEC No Start (EDIS)

Enter this Pinpoint Test only when Quick Test has been successfully completed and the engine is still a "no start" or when directed here from IGNITION SYSTEMS.

This Pinpoint Test is only intended to diagnose the following:

1. Spark (EEC related).
2. Harness circuits: PIP, IGN GND, VPWR.
3. ECA computer processor.

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that these non-EEC areas may be faulty:

1. Fuel quantity and quality.
2. Ignition: moisture, physical damage, etc.
3. Engine mechanical problems.
4. Starter and battery circuit.
5. Variable reluctance sensor (VRS).
6. EDIS module.
7. Coil packs.
