AFTER-REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Cancel ECU malfunction code memory by disconnecting the negative battery cable and depressing the brake pedal for at least 5 seconds. Reconnect battery cable.
2. Connect SST to check connector (Green, 6-pin). Set select switch to "A" position.
3. Connect a jumper wire between test connector (Green, 1-pin) and a ground.
4. Turn ignition switch "ON" but do not start engine for six seconds.
5. Start and warm up engine, then run at 2,000 rpm for three minutes.
6. Verify that no code numbers are displayed.
