Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Bypass Air Control Valve Removal:

1. Disconnect wiring connectors and remove BAC valve mounting screws.
2. Remove BAC valve from vehicle.

Bypass Air Control Valve Installation:

3. Remove any dirt and old sealant from mating surfaces.
4. Apply sealant to both sides of gasket and install valve.
5. Tighten mounting screws to 22 - 30 inlb (2.5 - 3.4 Nm) and reconnect wiring connectors.
