Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.
^ Tighten mounting bolts to 19 - 25 Nm (14 - 18 ft.lbs.).





NOTE:
^ Install the parking brake switch so that it contacts the parking brake lever when the lever is fully released.
^ Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check that the parking brake warning light illuminates with the lever pulled one notch.

3. After installation, check the parking brake lever stroke.
