Idle/Altitude Compensator (Non Comp. Controlled): Testing and Inspection

AIR VALVE

BAC Valve Port "A":

1. Disconnect air hoses from air funnel.
2. Blow through BAC valve from port "A" and check air flow.
Cold engine: Air flows
Warm engine: Air does not flow

ISC VALVE

BAC Valve Resistance Test:

1. Disconnect BAC valve connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to BAC valve terminals.
3. Check resistance. It should be 10.8 - 12.3 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
