With Scan Tool

AFTER-REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Cancel ECU malfunction code memory by disconnecting the negative battery cable and depressing the brake pedal for at least 20 seconds. Reconnect battery cable.
2. Connect SST to check connector (Green, 6-pin). Set select switch to "A" position.
3. Connect a jumper wire between test connector (Green, 1-pin) and a ground.
4. Turn ignition switch "ON."
5. Verify that no codes are displayed.
6. Start engine and verify that no code numbers are displayed.
