Deceleration Valve: Description and Operation

Coasting Richer System:

^ The coasting richer solenoid adds additional air and fuel to the secondary slow fuel circuit when energized
^ The solenoid receives battery power from the ignition switch and energizes when the ECU completes the circuit to ground.
^ The ECU energizes the solenoid during deceleration when the engine speed is between 2,500 - 1,400 rpm for longer than 1 second.
