Carburetor

Testing Intake Air Thermosensor:

1. Remove air cleaner cover.
2. Remove rubber boot from connector.
3. Heat intake air thermosensor and observe temperature.
4. Check sensor resistance with an ohmmeter. Normal sensor resistance measurements are as follows:

K OHMS TEMP.

14.6 - 17.8 -20°C / -4°F
2.21 - 2.69 20°C / 68°F
0.29 - 0.35 80°C / 176°F

4. If not as specified, replace intake air thermosensor.
5. Connect intake air thermosensor connector.
