Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

1. Remove air cleaner cover, then disconnect rubber boot from sensor connector.
2. Measure resistance across sensor terminals using a suitable ohmmeter.
3. Resistance should measure 2.21---17.8K ohms at 68°F and .290---.354K ohms at 140°F. If resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
