Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the spark plug covers.







3. Disconnect the spark plug wire sets.
4. Remove the spark plugs.
5. Repeat Steps 2, 3 and 4 for LH side.







6. Inspect the spark plugs.

1 Deposits Bridging Spark Plug Gap
2 Wet Black Deposits (Oil Fouling)
3 Dry Black Deposits (Carbon Fouling)
4 Normal Spark Plug
5 Pre-Ignition
6 Overheating
7 Fused Spot Deposits







7. Check and adjust the spark plugs.

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
