Accelerator Cable

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine air cleaner intake tube and duct.







2. Remove the bolt.







3. Remove the splash shield retaining pin and remove the accelerator control splash shield.







4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.







5. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.







6. Remove the accelerator cable from the retainer which is mounted to the battery tray.







7. Remove the tie wrap retaining the accelerator cable to the brake master cylinder.







8. Remove the bolts retaining the accelerator cable to the dash panel.
9. Remove the instrument panel steering column cover.







10. Remove the accelerator cable from the dash panel.
1 Remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
2 Remove the accelerator cable retainer and remove the accelerator cable from the dash panel.

INSTALLATION












1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
