Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the nuts, disconnect and set aside the speed control servo.







2. Remove the nuts and position the evaporative emission canister purge valve (EVAP canister purge valve) and bracket from the front fender apron.







3. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring.







4. Disconnect the evaporative emissions test port, the evaporative emissions return tube and the vacuum control connector.







5. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge valve from the bracket.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the evaporative emission canister purge valve.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Test the evaporative emissions system for leaks. EVAP System Leak Test
3. Perform the Evaporative Emissions Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle.
