Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.







3. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC Valve).







4. Remove the accelerator cable and the speed control cable.







5. Remove the bolts and the accelerator cable bracket.







6. Remove the bolts and the idle air valve.
7. Remove and discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Install a new idle air gasket.
