Installation
1. NOTE: The sealing surfaces must be clean and dry before applying the sealant.
Clean the sealing surfaces of the RH cylinder head and the RH valve cover.
2. Install the new spark plug bore 0-ring seals.
3. Install a new RH valve cover gasket in the RH valve cover.
4. Apply Silicone Gasket and Sealant F7A7-19554-EA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G323-A4 in two places where the engine front cover meets the valve cover.
5. NOTE: When positioning the valve cover do not damage the gasket.
Position the RH valve cover.
6. Install the eight bolts and the two studs in the sequence shown.
7. Install the ignition coils.
8. Reposition the engine control sensor wiring and connect the four fuel injectors.
9. Connect the fuel injection pressure sensor.
10. Install the engine control sensor wiring cover.
11. Position the engine control sensor wiring on the stud and install the nut.
12. Connect the engine control sensor wiring to the four ignition coils.
13. Install the ignition coil cover,
14. Connect the engine control sensor wiring to the PCM.
15. Connect the PCM ground straps.
16. Install the main chassis vacuum supply tube.
17. Install the nut.
18. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve to the RH valve cover.
19. Connect the heater water hose.
20. Connect the hose.
21. Connect the fuel line.
22. Install the water bypass tube.
23. Connect the battery ground cable.
24. Install the cross-vehicle support.
