Engine Block Heater Cord

Removal
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.





2. Disconnect the block heater power cable from the block heater.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the block heater power cable retainer (if equipped) and remove the block heater power cable from the vehicle.

Installation

1. CAUTION: Make sure the power cable is routed and secured away from rotating or hot components or damage to the cable may occur.

Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
