F1 Check LH Rear ABS Sensor and Indicator

NOTE: A very slight amount of damage to the brake anti-lock sensor indicator can cause false signals.

- Remove LH rear brake anti-lock sensor from rear wheel disc brake adapter and inspect head for damage.

- Use a flashlight to examine to brake anti-lock sensor indicator through the hole in the backing plate. Look for damaged or missing brake anti-lock sensor indicator teeth.

- Are rear brake anti-lock sensor and rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator OK?

YES -- Replace rear brake anti-lock sensor. Go to F2. F2 DTC C1175 or C1236

NO -- Replace damaged parts as required. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
