Ford Motor Company is providing a no-charge Service Program, Number 93B16, to owners of certain 1991 Lincoln Town cars.

REASON FOR THIS PROGRAM
We have found that an aluminum air conditioning line on some of these cars may crack and/or break causing the air conditioning system to become inoperative.

NO COST SERVICE

Your dealer will replace the aluminum line with a steel one so that you will not encounter this problem. If your dealer previously installed a steel discharge line, we still ask you to return your vehicle so that your dealer can install improved seals and recharge the air conditioning system. All of these services will be performed at no charge to you. This program is available through basic vehicle warranty or through April 30, 1994, whichever provides greater coverage.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

The time needed for this service is less than two hours. However, due to service scheduling times, your dealer may need your car for one full working day.

CALL YOUR DEALER

Ask for a service date and if parts are in stock.

If your dealer does not have the parts in stock, they can be ordered before scheduling your service date. Parts would be expected to arrive within a week.

When you take your car in, give the dealer this letter, If you misplace this letter, your dealer will still do the work, free of charge.

REFUNDS

If you paid to have this service done before the date of this letter, Ford is offering a full refund. For the refund, please show your paid work-order to your Lincoln-Mercury dealer.

We are taking this action as part of our ongoing efforts to maintain owner confidence in our products. We hope this program will confirm your continued satisfaction with your Lincoln-Mercury product.
