1991 Model Year Lincoln Town Cars built from Job # 1 through the end of June, 1991.

REASONS FOR THIS PROGRAM

We have found that the aluminum air conditioning discharge line on the affected cars may crack and/or break resulting in loss of A/C refrigerant. Should this occur, A/C function would be lost.

SERVICE ACTION
To correct this condition, dealers are to inspect the discharge line and, if aluminum, replace the line with a steel line. Dealers must also replace all of the A/C quick connect fitting o-rings and recharge the A/C system.

REFUNDS
Only for owner-paid repairs made before date of Owner Letter.
