Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

Fig. 2 Diagnostic connector:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove diagnostic plug bracket and position aside, Fig. 2.
3. Disconnect turbocharger boost pressure indicator connector.
4. Remove oil dipstick tube to intake manifold attaching clamp and position tube aside.
5. Loosen turbocharger crossover pipe boot clamp.
6. Remove intake manifold to cylinder head attaching bolts, then the intake manifold.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
