LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984 CONTINENTAL

The 1984 Continental with diesel option uses a unique steering column with a shift selector insert plate (Part Number E45C-7A216-AA, color code yellow - Diesel Only). The standard and heavy duty insert plates for non-diesel are color coded purple and green, respectively. The insert plates are not interchangeable and incorrect usage may result in transmission damage.
