WIPER MOUNTING ARM AND PIVOT SHAFT

Removal and Installation
1. Remove wiper arm.

2. NOTE: The cowl panel grille is held in place by clips.

Remove the cowl panel grille.
1 Carefully remove the RH portion of the cowl panel grille.
2 Carefully remove the LH portion of the cowl panel grille.

3. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
4. Release the windshield wiper motor electrical harness retainer clip and position the wire harness aside.
5. Remove the 3 wiper assembly mounting bolts and the wiper arm and pivot shaft assembly.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
